meet your host
Hi, I’m Dan Doty. I’m a wilderness guide, men’s work leader, and father of two boys. My favorite thing in life is taking men and boys out into nature for immersive, transformational experiences. Whether that’s a 50-day wilderness expedition in the desert of New Mexico with troubled teen boys or a weekend men's retreat in the mountains in Wyoming.
I’ve spent 10,000+ hours working with men and boys as a wilderness therapy guide, high school teacher, a men’s work leader, and as a leadership coach. I founded my first coaching business at 26, and since then, I’ve worked closely with thousands of men as the founder of EVRYMAN and co-founder of Fatherhood Unlocked.
I’m fortunate to have had my work featured on The Today Show, NYTimes, Joe Rogan, and Men’s Health.
I know how powerful nature and adventure is for boys. I’m excited to create an experience where you can bond deeply with your son and build a shared loved of the outdoors together.
